Background:IL-27RA (Interleukin-27 receptor subunit alpha) is a type I cytokine receptor that functions as the ligand binding component of the receptor for IL-27 and functions with the glycoprotein 130 (gp130) coreceptor to induce signal transduction in response to IL-27. IL-27/IL-27RA negatively regulates SFRP2 to activate Wnt/β-catenin, and thus promotes migration and invasion of trophoblasts during pregnancy. And IL-27 deficiency may contribute to the development of FGR by restricting the Wnt activity.IL-27RA includes a cytoplasmatic domain with Box 1 motif binding sites for JAK1/2, which contributes to signal transduction of the IL-27RA/gp130 dimer.
