Background：CK18 is a cytokeratin with a molecular weight of 45 kDa. It is mainly expressed in monolayer and pseudostratified epithelium, but negative in stratified squamous epithelium. It is expressed in glandular epithelium, transitional epithelium and hepatocytes. It is mainly used for the diagnosis of adenocarcinoma.
