U-Blot® p63 mouse mAb

Background：P63 is a nuclear protein transcription factor located on chromosome 3q27-29. It is a member of p53 gene family and plays an important role in the growth and development of a variety of epithelial organs. P63 was localized in the basal cells of squamous epithelium and urethral epithelium, myoepithelial cells of breast, sweat gland and salivary gland, basal cells of prostate and basal cells of skin squamous epithelium. P63 is a marker of basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and urinary tract transitional cell carcinoma. It can be used in the study of primary skin tumors, metastatic adenocarcinoma, benign and malignant breast lesions and prostate cancer.
